2nd Quarter

The project I like the most about this quarter was the lyrics project because I got to listen to my favorite song and make a video for it. I also liked the Abc project. Even though this is my last week in this class, I'm really going to miss all the fun projects and times we had in this class for a whole semester. This semester went by really fast like we were only here for a month and now we have to move on to a different class for another semester. Next semester, I will be a library assistant. I signed up for concert choir but I have a possible chance of not being in concert choir because I will be a library assistant.

Christmas

There is 12 days til Christmas. I'm really excited for Christmas because I get to spend time with my family. This year is going to be different because my grandma won't be there. For Christmas, I asked for the Wii U. A lot of people said to not get this at all because a lot of people think it's not as good as the X-Box 360. I don't agree with them because I barely play X-Box but I'm a really big fan of Nintendo. I have played Nintendo games and system for most of my life. From the GameBoys, the Nintendo DS Lite, the Nintendo 3DS, and the Wii. I also asked for Assassin's Creed 3 and Just Dance 4. I've never played any Assassin's Creed games because I never knew about them til now. I am in love with Just Dance. If I get Just Dance 4 for Christmas, I will have every Just Dance game.

The Seven Doors

If I had to choose between seven doors that lead to seven different places, I would choose the one that goes to Neverland. I chose this door because I love Peter Pan. When I walked through the door, it lead me to a forest. I figured that I was in the forest in Neverland. As I walked through, I heard noises behind me like someone was following me and when I would turn around, no one would be there. I continued to walk until I found myself on a ocean shore. I looked arund and found nothing. I walked along the shore to see if anyone was around. After three minutes of walking, I found some footprints leading in the same direction I was heading. I followed the footsteps. After I found the last footstep, I found myself in front of Peter Pan.

This Weekend

This weekend my best friend might come over for a sleepover. We are also working on our science project. As usual, we stay up past mid night doing crazy things. This weekend my family might be putting up our Christmas tree. We haven't decided yet because last year we got a new dog and we can't trust her alone in the house without tearing something up so we might keep our tree down til we can figure out how to keep her from tearing things up. Last year, both of my dogs decided to help take the ornaments off of the tree while we were gone. My mom bought porcelain ornaments that are little dolls for me and my sister because they looked like us. Well, we went to the store for a while to get some food because of the snow. When we came back, we found the ornament that looked like me on my mom and dad's bed torn apart. My mom was really upset with the dogs, but really angry because they grabbed more then one ornament. So this year we might keep our tree down just to be safe.

Gun Control

Many people believe that our ability to carry guns or to own guns should be taken away. This will never happen because the law is in the Constitution. I believe people should have guns because if there was an intruder in their house then they have the right to shoot. Other people just like to have guns or like to go somewhere and shoot them at targets, but some people use them for hunting. If they had a meeting for the ability to have guns, then I would go and tell them the reasons why they can't take it away, how it would be unfair, and what could happen to the people of the United States and even the President. If the gun laws were taken away, then many people would feel it is unfair. If they took our guns away, then they would have to take the guns from the military. I feel that our ancestors made this law to protect us from war or any other danger. If they take our guns away, I think of where we would be today if the men centuries ago went to war without guns.

Christmas

I can't wait for Christmas. In 26 days, I will be home in the living room opening presents from my mom and dad. I can't wait because I might get a Wii U, Assassin's Creed III, and Just Dance 4. I don't know what else that I might get but I do want a new phone because my phone is outdated. The phone I want is the iPhone 4s. If I got this phone, I would also ask for a phone case off of amazon.com. A couple months after Christmas, my family will celebrate my birthday. I might ask for some more video games for the Xbox 360 or the PS3. I might ask for a Under Armor hoodie. I've also been thinking about asking for cowgirl boots. I can't wait for Christmas!

A Horrible Thanksgiving

For my first Thanksgiving as host, I bought the biggest turkey they had in the store. The turkey, since it was so big, took a long time to cook. Time was running out. Everyone was there to have Thanksgiving at the time the dinner was scheduled. I kept checking on the turkey to see if it was done cooking, but for some reason it wouldn't cook completely. I served the ham because that was finished but the turkey wasn't. After all the ham was gone, I checked the turkey in the oven. For some reason, the turkey burned in the oven. I told everyone the bad news and asked what they would like to eat instead because the turkey burned completely.  They all agreed on hamburgers. After the hamburgers were done, I gave everyone a hamburger and let them chose their sides like fries, mashed potatoes, and other things. And that's why we all ate hamburgers.

Black Friday Shopping

This weekend, I might get to go black Friday with my mom and dad. This year we are gonna try to go to Wal-Mart to get a TV that is in the black Friday special. Wal-Mart also has video games for $10-$20. These games are usually $40-$60 depending on what game and what game system it goes to. We might get some other things for our house depending on how much they cost. If I get to go this year, this will be my first time going to a black Friday event. I realize that this crazy event can take many hours because everyone wants TVs, video games, and other things that this event has for sale. I hope I can get the things I want for a good price.

Video Game Addiction?

People tend to throw out the word addiction to things that they are really not addicted to. Like Facebook. People say they are addicted to getting online but they are not because they like to read their friend's post or read fights that are in the comments of that post. There is also games on Facebook that people also think they are addicted to but really the game tells you if you don't come back in so many hours or days then your pets or plants will die or you will lose the game. These games temp them to come back and play because the creator of the game gets paid every time you play a game online. Every one tends to say "I'm addicted to my cell phone," or "I can't live with out it." They say that because the company that made the cell phones puts apps or other things that draw their costumers in to buy there cell phones, especially smart phones. For example, Apple came out with the iPhone 4s that has a "app" called Siri. She is useless because she does things that people are to lazy to do. All video games do this and it is just a way to draw customers in.

What I Am Doing Tomorrow

Tomorrow after school, I'm going to go home and get dressed to go hunting with my dad. Last weekend we only saw a small buck but he wasn't legal to shoot at. So yesterday my dad went back in the morning to a different spot where the guy that owns the property said where the deer come through more. So my dad sat there for not even a half an hour and shot a doe. Tomorrow I'm going to go to that spot and try to kill a buck but if I don't see one then I'll just go for a doe instead because this will be my first deer in my entire life. I don't want to waste my tag because my dad will be upset at me. If I don't get one tomorrow then I will go again this weekend and try to get one from the spot my dad sat at last time. I hope I get a nice one this year because I don't like to hunt as much as my dad, sister, and uncle do because they are obsessed with hunting and fishing.

This Weekend

This weekend, rifle season opens and I will be hunting all this weekend. I'm really excited because this while be my first time to actually kill a deer. This is not the first time I've been hunting but it is the first time I get to kill a deer. I've been hunting 3 times already in the past 5 years but I wasn't old enough to shoot my dad's rifle because he said it kicks to hard and it could hurt my shoulder but he said when I get older it will be a lot easier to shoot it. There has been a big buck around the hunting property we go to and I'm trying to kill that one but if he doesn't come around then I'll go for a doe or a smaller buck. After this year I'm going to go to a class to get my Missouri Conservation License for hunting. I could of took it last year but I wasn't into hunting then but I'm going to see if I can take it this year.

After this year, I might swithch schools again because people are rude here for some reason. I had a lot of friends last year. I thought this year I would get a lot closer to them, but things got worse. I thought we would get along easier because we are getting older but a lot of them still act like they are in the 5th grade. I've gotten into fights with people because I'm tired of the way they act. What I meant to say was we are in the 8th grade, we aren't kids anymore. I've been wanting to come to Festus for the past 2 or 3 years since a friend from my old school came here. But last year I finally got to come but I regret coming because everything was terrifying to me. I thought I was just nervous coming from a private school. But I really wanna go back next year because I'm not used to be around so many people at once.

Homecoming

The first picture reminds me of my sister when she went to the homecoming dance. She had went to the old part of Crystal City to take pictures with her friends. She and her best friend took pictures on a rail road track in Crystal City. The pictures turned out good because her friend's mom took them. She had to wear a camoflauge dress because she loves camo. So my mom took one of her white dresses and cut the material off that she didn't want on the dress and then bought camoflauge and orange fabric to cut and sew on to the dress. My mom want her to wear flat silver shoes, but my sister wanted her boots. After fighting over what shoes to wear, my mom fianlly decided to let her wear her boots because her boots looked better than the silver shoes.

Four Day Weekend

I'm so excited for my four day weekend! This weekend I have a lot of things to do. On Friday, I have to go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned and for the Orthodontist to work on my appliance. After my dentist appointments I have to go home and work on a Halloween project with my dad for church on Wensday. If I have any extra time this weekend, I might get to go to Eckert's to pick apples. On Saturday I might ask to go to my aunt's house to help her this weekend. After I come home from there, I will do all my chores and work on my homework. After my homework is finished, I will watch the new episode of the Walking Dead.

Gas Station Robbery

Me and my friends had just robbed a gas station. My parents put a sign up for my bail, but I must explain why I did this crime. But the thing is, my parents and others don't realize I did it for a heroic reason. When it was time to talk about why I did this, my parents still didn't believe me. The reason why I robbed the gas station was that we had no money and neither did this elderly lady, and she needed something to drink because it was very hot outside. We only robbed the gas station just to help a senior citizen out in a death situation. They didn't see the lady on the security tape because she was across the street in the park trying to cool of in the shade before she died of thirst. The next day I took my parents to the park. I took them to the bench where the lady was sitting at. I looked around to see if anyone that was there last time was there again. We found a newly wed couple that was there walking around enjoy the view. I had asked what they saw me doing yesterday, and they said they saw me running with 2 bottles of water for the lady that needed something to drink. When my parents heard this, they finally believed every single word that the couple and myself say.

1st Quarter in Technology

In technology, we learned a ton of things. We learned how to change our desktop background. This was fun because we got to design our own background the way we wanted it to look. Sometimes when Mrs. DeBolt wants to try out something as a project, the next week we will work on it in class. My favorite project in this class was when we had to type about a famous athlete or musician. Mine was about Barbra Streisand. In this project we had to search up the person we chose and summarize about what their life was like, how they became famous, just normal things anyone would want to know about them. This class was fun because we had a lot of fun. I'm glad this isn't a quarter class.

The Worst Mess I Have Ever Seen

Anytime that we go somewhere for longer than 5 minutes, my dog Lacey gets upset because we leave her home when we leave. Yesterday after school when I came home, she decided to tear up something once again. This time she tore up a couch cusion. All the foam was scattered all over the place and cotton stuffing was in the floor too. When we get on to her she likes to act like it wasn't her. By doing this she will lay down and have puppy dog eye contact at you and wag her tail really fast to get you to say its alright. But this isn't the worst she has done. One day we went to a Cardinals baseball game during the day. This time we left her out of the kennel which was a bad thing. When we were on the road on our way back home, we were thinking about how much stuff she might of teared up this time. When we arrived home we unlock the door and find a couch pillow completely unstuffed, 2 different shoes with the insoles torn out of them, the insoles tore into little pieces, trash from the trash can dragged into the living room and all over in the kitchen, and lastly she managed to get in my room and tear things up there and she also got in the bathroom and tore up the trash in the trash can.

Greatest Sandwhich of All Time

The greatest sandwich of all time would have to be a oven roasted turkey breast sandwich. To make this sandwich, you must have a piece of white bread for the bottom. This will be the "base" of the sandwich. After the base is on the plate, take out the oven roasted turkey breast meat and put 5 slices of the meat on the piece of bread. When the meat is on the bread, then add 2 slices of pepper jack cheese to the sandwich. After that is complete, take another piece of bread and add it to the top of the sandwich.

Shelby's Teddy Bear Mr. Tedwardo

When someone broke into Shelby's house last week, the criminals had stole her teddy bear, Mr. Tedwardo. When Shelby couldn't find him, she made signs for anyone that could find Mr. Tedwardo. Everyone told her to buy a new one, but she said he was very special and there was something in him that was very important to her. After 3 days no one found Mr. Tedwardo, Shelby was very sad because she couldn't sleep at night. One day Shelby came over to my house and we decided to play Just Dance 3. While it was my turn, Shelby went looking around in my room. She said, "Mr. Tewdwardo, I found you at last!" I asked her what are you talking about, and she said you stole him. This was crazy, because I did steal him but I didn't want her to know. Then finally she said that it was ok that I stole him and she wasn't going to call the cops. After her turn I asked her what was so important in Mr. Tedwardo. She said, "MY CANDY BAR!"

They Took Everthing But One Odd Thing

Yesterday while my parents were at work and me and my sister were at school, my mom got a call from our neighbor saying somebody broke into our house today. My mom was scared that they might of took something really important. So my mom and dad picked us up from school and took us home to see what was missing from the robbery. We looked in each room and everything was gone. But the robber(s) left two odd things in our house that most people can't afford these days and would steal them when they got the chance. They would steal these odd things for a certain reason. For a Christmas or birthday present for their child. Well we found out that in mine and my sister's room was our two dogs in the closet barking. I'm glad they did'nt take them because they wouldn't let the robbers take them anyway.

Back to School Dance

Tomorrow after school there is a Back to School Dance. In PAWS I got to choose music for the dance tomorrow night. Mr. M said to write down music for the dance and the music has to be school appropriate. So we took a piece of paper and wrote down songs that we would like to listen to at the dance. After we find songs for the dance, we give the paper to Mr. M the paper and after school he would search up the songs and listen to them to see if there was anything bad in them. After he finished that he would highlight the ones that he already downloaded for the dance or that were school appropriate. So far we have a lot of songs but we need more to last the whole 2 hours of the dance. I hope that we find more songs for the dance today.

Miss-Fired Shot

When Cupid was looking for some to shoot with his bow and arrow, he kinda mis-fired when aiming for that special person. When he went to aim he had it right where he wanted the arrow to go, but someone step in the way of his shot right when he fired the arrow. When the arrow got to its destination, the arrow hit the person he didn't want to hit the first time. After he realized what went wrong, he flew to the nearest building and sat there thinking about what he just did. Was he going to get in trouble for this, was he going to lose his job for hitting the wrong person once, was he going to be banded from the use of his bow and arrows for love and other uses? Only time will tell...

The "Streisand Effect" was an outbreak that caused a global sensation for Barbra Streisand. What happened? Well some photographers took pictures of her house. After she found the pictures, she said that those photographs were not of her house. People began to dig into this outbreak to find out if it really was her house or not. So, they began to follow her to her house to find out if it was her house or someone else that is famous. The pictures turned out to be her house. The photographers kept saying she was lying, which she was so that paparazzi wouldn't show up at her house and stalk her.

Measuring Tape

When I see this picture I think of when a woman is having a wedding and already has everything else set up but does not have a wedding dress. When she goes to find the dress of her dreams she is measured by a lady that measure her waist to find the right size that is comfortable and is able to fit her nicely. After the lady measures her, she goes and finds a dress that the bride would enjoy. She brings the dresses to her and ask her to try the ones she likes on in the dressing room. After she puts on the first dress she comes out and stands in front of the mirror. Any guestions the bride has about the dress if it can be resized to fit her more our it's just not her type, then she is free to ask those guestions. After the bride tries on the last dress she loves, there was a problem with the measurements. The dress was ok but the size around the waist of the dress was to big but the size was comfortable. So the lady took the dress to the back of the store and ordered a new dress that was the right size but enough room to make it comfortable for this bride.

My New Nikes

About a week ago I went to Taco Bell to go eat dinner with my mom and my sister. Then we needed to go to Dollar General to get some things for the house. Before we went into the store I asked my mom if we can go look in Famous Footwear and look to see what shoes they had. Me and my sister tried on Nikes. We love those brand of shoes because they are good to run in or just to wear and are really comfortable. We were getting ready to leave and my mom asked if we found a pair of shoes we liked and wanted. We both were confused because we thought we were just looking and not buying, but my momk said we could buy them today because there was a sale there. When we bought they shoes they had socks for buy one get one half off, so me and my sister chose one pack off socks each. Then we went to Dollar General and got our stuff and went home.

My Bottled Up Memory

A memory I would like to bottle up is when I first went to Florida. It was a fun time when I went. I would like to go back and relive it because of things I didn't do while I was down there. I could of went to every store in Disney World to look or even buy a souvenir from that store. I could of rode more roller coasters there but I'm afraid to. When we went to Clearwater, we went to see Winter the Dolphin. After we got back to the hotel we went to the beach. I could of relived the time I went to the beach and went and walked in the sand. I could of also went in the water and find seashells. But, I chose not to. And that is why I want to bottle up this memory and relive it any time I want to.

Getting My Tooth Pulled

 Yesterday I went to the dentist to get my molar pulled because it was in the way where my braces would go. The dentist took a cotton swab with numbing medicine on it and rubbed it around my tooth and on my cheek. After 3 minutes he took it out. After he took out the cotton swab out he gave me two shots. After that he took a chisel like tool and chiseled around my tooth to make it less painful and easier to pull out. Then he took another tool and grabbed a hold of my tooth and wiggled it and then pulled it and out came my tooth!

Labor Day was created on the first Monday of September. We celebrate Labor Day because of the people like in the army or in the marines that work for America. Labor Day is where America shows that we appreciate the men and women that work for America. Some people think it's to celebrate for everyone that works in America, but it's not for everyone, it's only for the people that accutally save us like army people. People believe that Peter McGuire created this holiday. Other people believe that Matthew Maguire created it as well. The people that said Matthew Maguire, are correct. Matthew Maguire is a machinist that created this holiday for the people who dedicate their lives to fight in the marines and army for America.

We wanted to send this letter to let you know why you haven't been getting your weekly and monthly emails from us. Everyone of us apologizes for this problem that is occuring. It also happened because everyone in the company was really good friends with Steve Jobs. It's been very hard to keep everyone on task while working here without him in charge. This is nothing similar to our other laptops or other competing company's laptops. We made this Mac better and more Retena Display then the MacBook Air. We made this laptop lighter but with a bigger screen. 20' inch screen, 5 mega pixel webcam with better camera qualites like FaceTime and Photo Booth. Also with Photo Booth we added some other opitions to taking a picture. With a starting price of $2,000 for a 150GB storage and the one that holds the most, $3,000 with 300GB.

The Letter

I received a letter from a friend that is prison. I'm not sure why he gave me this letter. I wonder why he wants me to read it and do what it says and not let anyone find out. We were friends in high school but we really aren't that close since he went to prison. I wonder if i should get the things he wants that he said in the letter. But, the things he wants can be things to help him escape from prison. If I get him these things that could be for the use of getting out of prison before his sentence is over, I could be spending time in prison for giving him these things to escape. These things could also be like toothpaste or some other things he needs for his hygiene. Which is very important.

After watching these videos, I felt extremely bad for all the babies that get aborted for the craziest reasons. But the men in India don't understand that when they kill all female babies, they have no woman to marry when the young boys grow up and are ready to marry a woman. And i also thought that they go and pray for baby boys was unbelievable. And I thought that giving that lady with the twin girls a cake with eggs in it just to kill both or one of the girls was wrong. She shouldn't of took the cake because she should of known that cakes are made out of eggs. And when they told her they need to abort the twins, she did the right thing and went to her parents for help and protection. The lady who takes the female babies and raising them as one of her own was the best idea. But throwing a baby in the trash or having the mother take many kinds of medicine to kill the baby was also wrong. Every doctor in India that tells a mother and father that they are having a girl, they should not take medicine or abort it, they should go to this lady and give them the baby or quit living with this all baby girls shall be aborted or killed. It useless and needs to be stopped.
